She has worked in Auckland and Northland as a restoration specialist working on both private and council projects. Some of these include: Hobsonville Point Coastal restoration, Forest and Bird’s restoration project at Tuff Crater, and the development and management of Eskdale reserve and many other reserves as well as private properties.
In Northland Jacqueline, as part of her role as Enviroschools facilitator for secondary schools, has been linking schools with ecological projects and helping them set up native plant nurseries.
Working with Northland regional council Jacqueline has created a reference document for the council’s website which guides those wanting to restore their land through the steps.
She also has a plant nursery specialising in rare, flowering and bird-friendly native plants.
